For your consideration is a beautiful 1965 HONDA CB160 custom racer. This is a "one of a kind" CB160 with special period correct modifications. My attempt with this build was to make a race style bike with bits that would have been available in the 1960's. Most of the modifications are period 1960's...i will explain more in details below. Everything red has been powder coated. Aluminum engine covers, triple clamp, control switches, carb intake manifolds, front and rear hubs and rear sets polished to a chrome like finish. The front hub has been drilled out and screened. Both hubs are laced to polished aluminum rims with new stainless steel spokes by Buchanans and new factory Honda brake shoes. The front rim is an Akront alloy rim and the rear rim is a D.I.D. alloy. Both wheels are running Avon RoadRider tires. Re-chromed exhaust headers, gas tank panels, headlight bezel, fork rings, fork seal collars, front hub stay, and left and right foot controls. Rebuilt carbs fitted with polished aluminum velocity stacks made by Steel Dragon Performance. All new cables in period gray. Clubman style handlebars with wires run internally for a clean look. Original hand grips from 1965. The rear sets are from a 1965 Honda CB77 Superhawk. This enables the rider to move the foot controls in 3 different configurations depending on riding style. This beauty also has CB77 center stand assist bar as well as the CB77 rear brake cable set up. The gas tank has been custom painted to match my 1960's race helmet! The inside has been sealed by GTL of Los Angeles...better than brand new!! Very nice. Rebuilt petcock and in line fuel filters. The cafe style seat was made from the original pan. Upholstered with suede leather and mini tail light installed. This seat will fit on any stock CB160. Hagon performance rear shocks, D.I.D. chain, and pea shooter exhaust mufflers. Shorai sealed battery under seat. I put this gem together a few years back and put about 100 miles on her. The bike is showing some signs of oxidation on a few nuts from being close to the beach. Included in the sale are the original horn in excellent condition, powder coated front fender and chain guard, owners manual and vintage helmet. Starts up right away and shifts smoothly through all 4 gears. Electric or bump start only due to Superhawk rear sets. Great little classic ride! Please look at pics closely and ASK QUESTIONS.. I may have left something out! Please contact me if you would like video of the bike at cold start and running/driving. Clear California title in my name. I work with a few shippers locally and can assist with Local, Domestic and International shipping, but please remember, SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
