1967 Harley-Davidson Sportster . Condition is Used.Took on trade as a basket case. Has newly bored cylinders, .020 over new pistons and rings. I do not believe heads were rebuilt but seats and valves look good. Valve guides within spec. but near upper limit. Some chrome will polish out. Front rim shows light pitting. Bike should be rewired as bit disorganized though everything works as it should except brake light switch on front brake not hooked up. Cases appear to be mid 70's as it does have 1000cc cylinders. Tires are over 15 yrs old and should be replaced as well. Tail/ brake light functions but chrome is beyond saving. S&S super E carburetor. Runs better than expected since drag pipes make carb tuning little more difficult. Headlight lens cracked. Drives well but no high speed attempts were made due to tire condition. Hope to meet Jesus someday just not right away. Also includes extra seat and leather saddle bags.Actual mileage is unknown. Odometer shows 3/10 of a mile. Last owner became ill while redoing the bike and subsequently sat for 15 years.On Sep-10-20 at 10:51:03 PDT, seller added the following information:Battery should also be replaced as it is not correct for bike and is fairly old. Battery cover is missing as well.Check ball and spring in oil pump have been replaced as oil tank started draining into engine sump while bike sat.
