Up for auction is my 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross. Arguably the most iconic vintage motocross bike of all time. Famous for its many world MX championships, US MX and desert race titles and of course Steve McQueen and Malcolm Smith in the movie "On Any Sunday". Complete bare frame restoration was completed last year, complete engine overhaul "is broken in and ready to ride", original parts such as the BUFO hardware were used as much as possible. wheels were polished and re-laced with Buchanan's stainless steel spokes, the shocks were restored by John LeFevre along with supplying many parts. The crown jewel gas tank was restored, plated and painted by Mike Carter and is as perfect as perfect can be. Every part has been either been painted, plated or polished.
