Outstanding 1970 Yamaha 360 RT1 Enduro from my private collection. Numbers matching on engine, frame, and Federal label (RT1-07403). Engine has been rebuilt and has no rattling or piston slap noises.The bike starts up right away, idles smoothly at about 1600 rpm, and pulls like an absolute beast right through the 6500 rpm redline. Autolube oil lubrication system works properly, no mixing of oil with gas required. Transmission shifts into and out of all 5 gears properly, neutral easy to find, zero clutch slip under hard acceleration. Power is awesome, under full throttle the front wheel wants to come up every time. Horn works, headlight (high and low beam) lights up correctly, as do the tail lamp and stop lamp. Chain and sprockets are clean and show minimal wear. Front and rear suspension and brakes all appear to be in excellent condition and operate smoothly, no leaks or damage, fork tubes have no rust or pitting. Both tires are brand new Shinko 241s, and both inner tubes were replaced as well. Exhaust pipe is solid, no dents, holes, or rust, and the baffle remains installed. All cables and controls work smoothly. Both gauges are working as intended, including the trip meter and reset knob, odometer displays 2,760 miles and has been certified as actual mileage. Gas and oil tanks are spotless inside and out, no rust, no dents, no leaks, and no previous internal coatings have ever been applied. Paint is outstanding, no dents, scratches, chips, or damage anywhere. All of the chrome shines beautifully. The front fender is the correct aluminum early version in mint condition. This motorcycle was started and ridden for several miles on February 1, 2020, the day these photos were taken, and I believe it looks even better in person than in the pictures. Stock, complete and correct, a beautiful show quality machine that receives a lot of attention anytime it is out in public. I have the clear California title in my name, the registration is current on "non-operated" status and there are no outstanding fees. This sale will also include the original Yamaha RT1 Owner's manual and the tool kit.
