“This bike is in excellent condition as it was originally picked up from the New England Motorcycle Museum. It is an excellent example of the early 1970's classic small Harley Davidson bike and still has the original Harley mirrors correct to the bike!”
In 1965 Harley Davidson bought 50% stake in the Italian manufacturer Aermacchi. For over 10 years they sold the small Italian bikes in HD dealerships under the Aermacchi Harley Davidson marquee. In it’s time, AMF bought the other 50%, selling in 1978 to the company that would become Cagiva. The 1971 Aermacchi Harley Davidson 125 Rapido featured 123.5 CC air cooled two stroke single that made 13 HP. speed transmission would push the 250 LB single to about 72 MPH. This 1971 Aermacchi Harley Davidson Rapido (VIN# 7A12958H1) is in Indiana and is listed as 1,969 mile restored original. It has had very thorough recent servicing and is in superb condition mechanically and cosmetically.
