“A well used, but not worn out Trail Boss that will provide a great deal of fun for the entire family. It is nearly 50 years old, but it still has many good miles on it and parts are readily available if the need should arise. Hi-Low gear range functions normally as well as all 5 gears in either selected range.”
A very decent 1971 Kawasaki G4-TR 100 Trail Boss. It has low original mileage and a clear title. You can see from the photos that the bike is not new, but, it is not a rusting bucket of bolts either. It is complete and has excellent tires, so that will save you the added expense of buying new tires upon arrival at your home. As the bike is nearly 50 years old I cannot offer any warranty expressed or implied as I have no control over the bike once it leaves my possession. It would benefit from a carburetor rebuild, but, I've also added an entire original Mikuni VM-19sc carburetor that has been thoroughly cleaned and gone through and is ready to be installed at your convenience. It takes about 15-20 minutes if you are an amateur mechanic and even less if you are experienced with the use of basic metric tools. For those of you in the know, trying to buy a complete original carburetor for this bike can be difficult at best, but, there are plenty of excellent rebuild kits readily available. This has all been done for you in advance and it is always a sound idea to have a spare carburetor on hand for immediate use if the need arises. The bike does not require a battery to start and run, but, for nighttime operation, it would be a good idea to have a fresh one installed. They too, are readily available and very inexpensive and you can obtain one from most automotive parts stores in your local area. I've had many recent inquiries regarding this bike, but it seemed as though the people that wanted to buy it were not serious in their efforts or intent to go through with the deal once they committed to buy it. I haven't got the time or energy to argue with people or chase them down, but, if you are actually interested in buying the bike and are prepared to pay for it once you either hit the "Buy It Now" optionor make a decent offer, I'd like to hear from you. You can actually call me at [hidden information] before 3 p.m. PDT as I am working some very strange hours as a medevac pilot with the current pandemic and I need every wink of sleep that I can get so that I can stay sharp and focused. In any event, the bike is very fairly priced in order to attract a motivated buyer or Kawasaki enthusiast who will appreciate owning and enjoying this reliable little bike. It would be well suited for family outings and camping, and it has very docile handling characteristics. I will not reply to any text messages due to the seemingly endless amount of scammers out there, so either call me directly, or get in touch with me here at e-Bay and I'll do my best to help you. To everyone everywhere, I wish you the very best of good health and safety, especially during this 4th of July holiday. Please look after yourselves and think about everything you are doing! It is my strong wish that everyone out there lives good, long, and happy life! I look forward to talking to you if I can be of help.
