Selling my 1975 Honda CB 550. This motorcycle is very original runs and rides very nice. Engine starts right up with a little choke and the push of a button, and settles into a healthy idle. Once riding the transmission shifts smoothly up and down the gear range, and goes down the road straight as an arrow. Odometer says 3300 miles and I have no reason to doubt it I purchased it from the second owner who said it was parked in 1980 and there is an old New York motorcycle inspection sticker on left rear shock that seems to confirm the story. Many of the original yellow paint markings put on by the factory are still intact all over the bike the front tire is the original Bridgestone super speed which should be replaced by the future owner, I left it on for originalities sake. There are a few things worth mentioning for honesties sake and I??�ve documented in the photos so you can see for yourself. During its time in storage the original tank was unfortunately damaged. A new (used) tank was sourced that was in very nice shape and repainted to match the side covers original color. Overall it was a very good job and the side graphics on tank are painted on and not decals like some jobs, and they look very good. There is a slight blemish on the top of the tank in a couple places it has been this way for a while and never changed but it??�s worth mentioning as it??�s very noticeable.The other imperfections are the exhaust which is the original fourintofour system has some rust starting on one of the pipes on the left side and one of the tips on the rear right side muffler is slightly squashed not terrible but worth mentioning. Recent service includes fresh oil and filter and valve adjustment.Bike is sold with Vermont transferable registration certificate in my name, which will act as a title in your state if required. Overall this is a fantastic bike that garners a lot of attention wherever you go with it, and should make the future owner quite happy.
