I've owned this bike for couple of years, and to be honest, hardly ridden it maybe 200 miles.
Originally bought as semi-cafe'ed bike, considerable work has been done to get it modern and complete, but it would make great winter project for someone to turn into an awesome ride.
Over the years, as you can see from the photos, there has been lot of work done and it comes with lot of parts that aren't standard. And although can't necessarily cover much of the detail of work done before me, will attempt to highlight most of the upgrades (although CB900 aficionados may correct me!)
Front end and both wheels have been swapped for something more modern to run better tyres and twin front disks; from what can tell these are from an early CBR600.
Braided hoses fitted front and rear.
The top yoke was custom made Cognito Moto in the states, to create really clean front end (the ignition switch is fitted into the top of the light).
New headlight
Braced Swingarm
The tank has been professionally stripped and painted by local bodyshop.
Aluminium rear seat unit is pretty unique (but maybe not to everyones taste), and hides lithium battery.
Oil, spark plugs and filter have all been changed in the last 100 miles
The bike completed the Distinguished Gentlemans Ride London last year and has pretty much sat since, having covered about 20 miles in the last 12 months. It runs well, but have no evidence that it has ever been properly set-up to run without the airbox.
Given the lack of use (as have other bikes) the MOT expired in September 2017, and it may need some minor work to get it back through (or tester that understand the intricacies of old bikes).
As you can see from the photo's, its not perfect, but it is complete, runs, and looks pretty cool, but as with all projects seem to consider, they don't necessarily progress at an appropriate speed!
I would love to have the time to strip it back to frame, powder coat, and rewire it, and think it would easily become proper head-turner.
I have tried to show as much detail as can in the photos but can send some more if they assist.Cash on Collection or Paypal.
