1982 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FLH, I began with this bike back in 2002 when I purchased from a friend who rode it everywhere, it was originally a black on black FLH and I went through everything and updated it as I wanted, one of the pictures shows when I changed the paint, rebuilt the entire engine, trans and changed wheels, tires, paint (Pearl White) which it still is today. Working at a Dealership had its advantages especially the best painters. From there I rode for a few years and wanted a change and in 2005 I changed the front end to a 1997 Harley Springer front end and tire. and changed the 16' apes to 12's better decision. Sorry I like apes because of a previous back injury. Things I added was a BDL belt drive instead off then primary taking oil, it is a dry clutch system also with the belt drive. The chain rear gear is still the same. Just updated the sprocket to a highway sprocket. ha looked at changing the 4 speed to a 5 speed but kept then 4 speed and it does well at 75 mph on highway. The Corbin seat is a custom special I had made which is Ostrich Skin (very smooth and comfortable, the pillion pad is a stick on and I also have another seat which goes with it. As you can tell it is dusty and I don't use it very often. The kick/electric start still works well, don't start with kick as I have difficult time with back anyway.Changed the system to a crane cam ignition and it starts every time, also with the upgraded new S & S super E carb with choke. Once you do a slight choke, it starts asap. I also had long tube headers and I didn't lie the sound so I went back to a traditional offset exhaust pipes and then sound awesome. There is nothing like the sound of the "potato" Harley and it does. I had considered changing the paint to a two tone but the white is in great shape.I hate to get rid of this bike but I have listed my others also because I am a Disabled Vet and with my back and leg issues I cannot support it any longer. I have to go to a 3 wheeler which I don't care for but they cost a lot and that's the only way I can ride. I also have a 2009 CVO RoadGlide and 1947 Knucklehead I have been working on for over 10 years and all must go. If you want any info on this bike let me know. My number is [hidden information] good luck in the auction.Knucklehead to come to auction soon. This is the one that's there hardest to sell.
