This is probably the nicest 1985 KX500 in existence. I have the entire history on this bike and it has less than 20 total hours. It was purchased by a team green team mate of mine in 1985, who promptly broke his leg. The next owner road it a few hours then parked it in his heated garage with his other bikes for a couple decades. I bought it to race AHRMA but decided it is just too nice. It is completely stock except the bars. I will put the stockers back on, they are perfect too. If you are looking at this this is the 1st year of the liquid cooled KX500 that kicked of a couple decades of dominance. This bike is not restored. It is just still perfect. It has always been stored in a heated garage with the fuel drained and storage seal. I had to put on tires, air filter and fork seals and it runs perfect.
