I bought this as a Teal colored R100RT with fairing damage. As I already had a spare R100RS fairing it was easy to restore it as an R100RS and at the same time had it re-sprayed in the 1977/78 Gold color that looked odd back then, but looks perfect in 2020. No striping applied to the new paint so you can leave it or have that done. It has a Corbin seat, pannier racks, San Jose aluminum top yoke, SS front hose and "Speedy bleeders (I love 'em). Will come with approx. 1/2 pint of paint. Transmission/gearbox is off a very very low mileage late R bike and DOES have the snap ring on the output shaft. I had it ticking like a switch watch a couple of years ago. But left the gas in over the winter. Since then it's had the carbs cleaned, however I have not tried to get it going again as I'm downsizing and moving. Winter project and next spring you'll have a beautiful R100RS. Clear Wisconsin title - I moved from Chicago in April 2020
