This is a relist. I've been selling on eBay forever and this situation exists far too often where the buyer comes to realize the cost of shipping and bails. Most auctions are contractual but I'm a nice guy and let the buyer off the hook. I EAT THE LISTING FEES SO PLEASE look into shipping quotes first.Daily Direct (haulbikes.com) is a company I've used many times and they have a flat rate shipping charge on their website. Otherwsie U-Ship is a site where folks bid on your shipment sometimes coming in much cheaper. On average, depending on distance you are looking at $400-600 unless you are within a 400 mile radius of New Mexico then it can be cheaper.I have now made it a fixed fee listing to cover my listing costs and time at a very fair buy-it-now. A very nice example of an early carburetor large valved M900. The bike was a garage find having sat for more than 10 years. A very collectible bike that started the Monster craze and saved Ducati. The tank is rust free inside. No crash damage. The bike has: new tires new battery new fork seals fresh oil and filter changeTermignoni pipes! K&N air filter with original uncut airbox cover.Steering damper. Braided hydraulic lines.Aftermarket Hyperpro rear springFactory vented clutch cover - hard to find!New clutch friction plates and springs.New mikuni fuel pump. Most of the work to bring it up to snuff has been done with the exception of installing a new chain and cam belts which are all included in the sale. These are simple DIY items to do but I just have not had time for. These are simple analog bikes and easy to work on. Other things to consider with older monsters - clutch slaves like to leak - mine doesnt....yet. I have had only one fail once on another Monster I had. Even when they don't leak can absorb air and occasionally require bleeding do to poor factory seals. Many people go aftermarket or purchase a rebuilt kit with better seals.
Original owners manual. The seat is perfect. The paint excellent. It just needs a good detailing with a toothbrush. Normal patina for a bike that has 10K miles in the form of dirt / minor scratches and rubs but nothing major. Try finding an uncut version of this bike anymore. Most have had their tails chopped off and can never be original again.Try finding an original early monster anymore - they are getting very hard to find. Most have been customized or modified. This is an old bike and as such nothing can be guaranteed or warrantied. See my excellent feedback. I try to be 100% accurate with my description, however, I encourage you to ask questions. Sold as-is where is.I can work with your shipper to get bike loaded.
