Where do start with this... This is combination of good Bandit 1200 and used and abused 2002 GSX-R1000, which judging by the cheap Chinese bodywork had been slid down one too many tracks...
There is now more GSX-R1000 on this bike than there is Bandit 1200, about the only Bandit parts left are the main frame, engine, tank and wiring loom. Everything else is GSX-R or custom.
It started with mock up of all the GSX-R1000 parts into the Bandit to make sure it all fitted, and apart from pressing the Bandit steering column into the GSX-R yoke, and trimming ~15mm from the width of the swing arm pivot, it was largely bolt in exercise.
Once that was done the rear subframe had chat with everybody's favourite power tool... The angle grinder... Removing it to be replaced with one off to suit the new single seat in brown leather.
When that was complete the bike was then stripped back to bare frame for paint and powder coating. The frame and the wheels are done in Prismatic Powders Galaxy Grey II from the USA, the swing arm in matt black to match the bottom of the fork legs and the tank painted in Ford Performance Blue.
After paint and powder coat the bike was rebuilt with all new consumable's throughout; wheel bearings, swing arm bearings, linkage bearings, head bearings, brake pads, spark plugs, brake and clutch lines, llithium battery, etc, etc
It has got full Delkevic exhaust system with K&N pod filters and stage Dynojet kit fitted.
The bike comes with full inventory of receipts to show where all the parts came from, etc should anything ever need to be replaced.
It goes without saying but test rides will only be given upon receipt of prove of fully comprehensive insurance or the full asking price in cash.
Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the work that went into this build.
Thanks for looking
