This is a nearly flawless 2006 Sportster 1200 XLC (trim package with the larger gas tank). I am the second owner. The original owner bought it in 2006 from Harley Davidson of Washington, D.C. and added all the aftermarket chrome components. Then he traded it back in at the same dealership for a bigger, cruiser-style bike in 2010. He put 4,010 miles on it. I bought it from the dealership that year and put 1,400 miles on it riding around Maryland. I had it shipped to Maine when I moved here last year. I'm giving up riding for safety reasons and also because I need the room in my garage. I'll work with you to ship it but buyer pays for shipping. The Good:Outstanding condition. Never been dropped or damaged. People really notice this bike! New tires. Installed at the dealership just before I moved to Maine in 2017. I've probably ridden fewer than 100 miles since then. Fully serviced when the tires were installed, including brake flush and new rear master cylinder. I have the records for this.Low miles.Runs great.Removable rear seat post.Saddlebags installed at the dealershipThe Bad: The right handgrip has started leaving a smudge on my hand. I bought a new set of handgrips but don't feel like installing them. They come with the bike and buyer installs. The battery isn't holding its charge very well. I've been jumping it from a portable battery jumper/charger to start it. I will replace the battery after the sale -- I don't want to buy a new battery now in case it doesn't sell it until the spring.
