1979 CB250N SUPERDREAM RUNNING PROJECT I'm selling this bike as my other bike will require some work over the winter and won't have the time to do anything with this one.The bike runs and was MOT'd until late June of this year and currently on SORN.One of the carbs has float needle valve sticking at the moment fitted an inline fuel filter but probably left it too late. The mileage shown is not accurate an MOT test in 2008 shows milage at 61658.In the past couple of weeks the front brake has decided to stick on.The work I've done so far is far from complete I'll try to list what's been done so far. Paint I've given it white and black paint job (the V5 still shows the original blue) and the engine has been painted black. The number boards have been made from plastic which is bit brittle they have been bonded onto the side panels which are missing couple of fixings on both sides. I've used bit of tape on each side to straighten them up for the photos.I picked up the racing seat on ebay. it had hole in it which repaired with kit. It's visible on closer inspection. The gold flat bars and Renthal grips are brand new.The LED twin tail lights are brand new. These are recessed in the tail piece and are on mechano style bracket which will either need strengthened or remade. The LED indicators are brand new. These were blinking at time due to their low voltage and backfeed of current. The removal of the indicator bulb on the dash allows them to come on side at time. have bought diode kit that seemingly sorts this issue out but I've not fitted it yet.The Motad into pipe is in great shape and was on the bike when bought it sounds great. Other stuff needing done.I suspect the forks contain little or no oil. I've never removed the gaiters so don't know what shape the seals are in.A new air filter was on the shopping list. There are probably few more things that will need addressed, it is nearly 40 years old. Unfortunately cannot deliver the bike. Thanks for looking.
