Norton 350cc navigator in running order mot until 23 January 2019. bought this bike few years ago and completed rebuild and got the bike mot`d then registered in june 2016. have the v5c in my name and engine and frame match the v5c but not each other. the bike was sold through Ralph`s of Bromsgrove in may 1961 had originally bought the bike for spares for the rebuild of my de-lux navigator have that rebuilt first, needed nothing off this bike so did rebuild to get it back on the road, it is not concourse rebuild and the bike has odd storage scratches. sorned the bike on rebuild but mot`d it this January and then spent [on bright days] some happy hours running in the first 500miles this February, did small run today of just over 40 miles after re checking the valve clearances, it will want its oil changing in another 500miles, it is not fully run in but goes ok have held it to speeds of about 45 to 50 mph in top The engine had new big end shells and correct navigator ground main bearings, rebore to good second hand pistons with new piston rings, clutch and gearbox all work nicely with new cables all around, new rear chain and sprocket to rebuilt hubs with good chrome rims laced with stainless spokes new tyres less the just over 500miles have covered, re chromed original levers and bars. original unrestored down pipes but two NOS rear silencers .I have used mostly good original nuts and there is not much stainless, just brake rod and rear wheel adjusters that were missing plus the odd fixing. The bike starts easily and charges well with all lights horn working. seat was recovered in original material that was not even available from Leightens at the time had it recovered, plus the bike has its styling panels, though both mudguards are not the originals but are period. Rebuilt roadholder forks which give it the excellent inch front brake unlike navigator saw sell recently for over £3k that had jubilee front forks and brake! The old tank badges come with the bike but need restoring, it has wet sump valve fitted behind the panels that used when it was sorned but have not used since it drips bit of oil and added engine breather to the rear of the bike with piece fitted from the breather to oil tank pipe after 100 mile as thought the rocker gear was over oiling on its feed and pressuring the rockers . could waffle on so ask any enquiries early please not at the last minute. will not end early so please don't ask, and most importantly DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT COME TO WEST YORKSHIRE WITH CASH as will not accept paypal on this item also be aware if you bid you will be buying, the start price is the reserve and as you know its a nigh on 57 year old motor cycle sold as seen in the description with no warranty implied or given, even so it still should make someone nice lightweight vintage motorcycle.
