FOR SALETriumph "HARRIS" Bonneville 750#[hidden information] of 1255 built at the end of 1985.Has original 36365 km's with documentation (rego slips and receipts). Some of the work done includes an engine rebuild with 40 thou O/S Hepolite pistons, new head and valves.New Norman Hyde clutch and Boyer ignition. Head bearings and more. Parts cat and workshop manual inc. This was done awhile ago but has travelled few kilometres since.Has sat for awhile but started regularly.Took it out for a 90 minute ride in the last week and it didn't miss a beat.Easy to start and settles into a nice idle quickly.Clutch and gear box work great.Tank is clean inside.
The cons
------------Needs tyres as these are old but look ok.Rear brake needs adjusting . Although the front brakes stop well but you can feel the motor vibrating thru them . Paint has faded as per pictures but accurately depict its condition.Has non original pipes.
This old triumph needs somebody to ride it and take it to the next level. It was nice to ride and felt reliable and solid.Best clutch I've felt on an old Brit bike. Not to heavy and smooth.
Bike can be viewed at Bracken Ridge Nth Brisbane. If paying with paypal you pay fees. Prefer cash or bank depositThank you.Happy to answer sensible questions. No trades or swaps.
