Nobby my Thunderbird 900 is in need of a new home! I bought another bike, and have since found out there is not enough room in my shed at home. The choice is sell 1 of the bikes, or broach the subject of building a larger shed with my Wife, which I know will cost me more in the long run! This bike is 100% reliable, check the oil and water, fill with petrol, push the button and ride wherever you want to go in confidence!
Nobby is currently set up as he came back from a recent 1,100 mile trip to South Devon and Cornwall. All tyres are good, last minor service in July at 25,187 Miles, valve clearances and major services whilst I have owned him carried out at Trimoto (Triumph Specialists), if he has needed money spent it has been. Whilst I have owned him, all MOT's have been passed without any advisories Voltage regulator replaced as it was overcharging the battery, new battery last year,. Battery monitor and 12v accessory socket fitted. As with any 20 year old vehicle there are some cosmetic marks, but generally the paintwork and chrome are good for their age as you can see from the photos, the worst bit being where spray from the front wheel gets onto the front of the crankcase, and some paint is flaking.
Admittedly there are many other thunderbird 900's out there with lower mileages, but this bike is regularly used, and gets miles put on it because it is easy to ride comfortable and reliable!
Screen adds to the comfort, I have regularly ridden a tank of fuel, filled up, and ridden on, sometimes 3 or 4 times on the trot. Any questions please ask LED headlight has been a vast improvement over original light at night (original headlight will come with the bike), panniers are easily detachable for when you get to your destination
